Where Nature Meets Luxury
Camp Aramoni is bringing world-class hospitality to the great outdoors. Our luxury campground is the first of its kind in Illinois and will open in Summer of 2021. The 96-acre property offers fully immersive experiences including lavish safari-style tents, chef-inspired cuisine, and on-site activities in the lush forests along the Vermillion River.
RESERVATIONS NOW AVAILABLE
The campground features 11 semi-permanent safari-style tents, each outfitted with upscale amenities drawing inspiration from native Illinois wildflowers. The tents include air conditioning and heat, private en-suite restrooms, mini fridges, comfortable beds with luxury linens, personal bonfires, and more. With each tent accommodating two to six guests for a total occupancy of 54, the campground is ideal for private couples’ getaways while expansive enough for corporate retreats and full wedding buyouts. The Barn, the campground’s refined rustic lodge, offers spaces for food and wine tastings in addition to dining areas where breakfast is served daily. The Barn is also home to Camp Aramoni’s general store, Gertie’s, and is stocked with sundries, snacks, grab-and-go meals, and curated merchandise. Camp Aramoni offers a robust food and beverage program featuring seasonal, chef driven menus available en-suite or at The Barn. The campground is currently under construction and will begin accepting reservations on November 2, 2020. The tent images on this site were provided by Camp Aramoni’s tent manufacturer, Bushtec Safari. The tents are currently in production in South Africa and will make their way to the United States in early 2021. Follow our journey on social media for daily updates!
Why yes it is! Glamping, or glamorous camping, combines our innate desires for nature with our modern desires for comfort. However, we prefer the term “luxury camping” to convey the high level of service provided at Camp Aramoni. When you stay at Camp Aramoni, you will experience our luxury accommodations, hyper-local food and beverage program, on-site activities, and unparalleled attention to detail all wrapped into a secluded natural landscape.
You will receive access to your private tent in addition to a chef-driven breakfast for two. Camp Aramoni’s tents are priced for double occupancy (two guests). Additional guests can be added for $100 per person per night, and our tents can accommodate two to six guests per tent depending on the model. In addition, you will receive access to Camp Aramoni's private shoreline, hiking trails, and ponds so you can spend all day exploring. Complimentary bicycles and lawn games are available on a limited basis at The Barn. Fishing and swimming are permitted in the Vermilion River at your own risk. If you’d like to venture off-site, our concierge will direct you to our great local partners for dining, drinking, relaxing, dancing, and more throughout Starved Rock Country. Please email our concierge at email@example.com for assistance planning your stay.
